Grades used in Calculating Admissions Eligibility: Grades earned in the 10th and 11th grades in the courses listed above are used to calculate eligibility. Courses taken in the summer following the 9th grade and taken in the summer following the 11th grade will also be used. If you earned any D’s or F’s in any of your required high school courses, you will report these grades for the UC’s and the CSU’s. You will have the ability to report the repeated course grade. You will need to compute your GPA with repeated courses.
Honors/Advanced Placement Courses Earning Weighted Grades: Only the following courses will be given a “weighted” grade: Any AP (Advanced Placement) course, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, Honors Pre-Calculus, Honors Chinese Mandarin 4, French 4 Honors, Korean 4 Honors, Korean 5 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors.
Note: Graduation Credit for Online, Off-Campus and College Courses: SRVUSD will provide credit towards graduation for completion of accredited online courses, off-campus courses and college courses. A total of 40 credits from non-district courses can be included on the official SRVUSD transcript, as long as the course(s) is/are completed after June 1, 2019.
Note from UC: "We limit the number of honors points to 4 courses (8 semesters), with no more than 2 courses (four semesters) from 10th grade."
